@Bowromir Hello Bowe, tried to reach you on BP-Tricks, but thought I’d try you here. Or if anyone has any hints on how to make this possible please let me know… We started working with External Member Blogs, and now looking to extend it in a good way. I was wondering if we can associate feeds [...]

@karmatosed @mercime @bowromir @hnla and anyone else interested in contributing to BP-Default 1.3: Mercime has generously done a wp.org-style theme review of BP-Default. I’ve created tickets on trac. @MrMaz, @Bowromir: I’m up for linking up about UI / design on the default theme, buddypress.org and also back end admin interface. As I come from a UI and design / front end more should fit in hopefully with those already volunteering. I would love to get involved in both parts and have done a small amount [...]

@bowromir Have you checked out flattr.com as a donation platform? If all BP plugin/theme devs standardise on one donation platform it would make things simpler, no? With flattr you can also do monthly micro-donations where you choose how much you want to donate per month and it is spread out between the different plugins you have [...]

John James Jacoby posted on the forum topic Call to arms – Own your task in the group Requests & Feedback:
@bowromir CSS Decoupling the CSS into smaller pieces seems like it would go against the cardinal rule of minimizing HTTP requests to speed up page load times. Having everything turned on would load up 10 separate CSS files, just for the theme itself. They’d naturally be enqueued hierarchically so they cascade correct, so if one of them [...]

@finni3 and @bowromir – many thanks
@4ella – I tried to use as small custom css as possible to make BPGE fit any BP-ready theme. All the content on Description page is wrapped with a div with class=”extra-data”. So you can redefine styles to your needs. I think that will work for most users. But you gave [...] -

@Bowromir the last time I used Secure Invites on test install a year ago, my test users had to reset their passwords when I disabled it to test another invite plugin. Do you know if that behavior has changed in recent versions?
